COMPANY STORY

 

Management Team

Our President started in the sprinkler trade in 1981 and has 31 years experience. He started as a pipe fitter and after his first year began working as a designer and later an estimator/project manager. Holds a NICET Level III as a Certified Engineering Technician and an S370 Fire Suppression System License for the State of Utah. He has extensive experience in Commercial, Residential and Industrial Fire Suppression Systems. He has estimated and managed projects all over the United States including power plants, underground mining and public works projects.

 

Our Vice President started in the sprinkler trade in 1987 and has 25 years experience. He started as an installer and later became a foreman and field supervisor. He is a Master Journeyman and holds a Level III Sprinkler Technician License with the State of Utah Fire Marshall's Office.

 

Key Personnel

Our Head Designer started in the trade in 1987 and has been designing Fire Suppression Systems for 25 years with experience in all facets of Fire Suppression. He holds a NICET Level IV as a Senior Engineering Technician.

 

One of our Estimator/Project Managers started in the trade in 1980 and has been designing and estimating/project managing for 32 years. He holds a NICET Level IV as a Senior Engineering Technician.

 

Our Project Supervisor/Technician Specialist started in the trade in 1984 and has 28 years of experience. He holds a Level III Sprinkler Technician License with the state of Utah Fire Marshalls Office, Backflow Technician Certificate with the State of Utah and a Fire Suppression Service Certificate for Portable Fire Extinguishers.

 

Our Inspection and Service Department Manager started in the trade in 1993 has 21 years of experience. He holds Level III Sprinkler Technician License with the state of Utah Fire Marshalls Office, Backflow Technician Certificate with the State of Utah and a Fire Suppression Service Certificate for Portable Fire Extinguishers.

 

History and Goals

In 2008, our management team left the fire sprinkler company they were all working to start a new company. Between the three, they have a combined 69 years of experience. Adding our key personnel gives us a combined 175 years of experience. You could say that we’ve "been there, done that" when it comes to our experience. Our goals are simple. Provide the best service at a competitive price within a safe working environment. Safety includes a drug-free work force, which is strictly enforced.

 

Interwest Fire hires quality individuals and provides ongoing training. As a member of the American Fire Sprinkler Association (AFSA), we provide the AFSA approved Apprenticeship Program for new hires as they study and work towards becoming a Journeyman.
